The West Washington - Chapin Allocation Area (West Washington - Chapin <br />Area No. 1A) is hereby expanded to include Expansion Area No. 1 as described in <br />Whereas Clause No. 2 above, so that the boundaries of the Allocation Area and <br />the Area are coterminous. Any taxes levied on property imposed under IC 6 -1 -.1 <br />in the Allocation Area shall be allocated, distributed and used as provided in <br />Resolution No. 818, as amended, and the Act. The base assessment date for <br />Expansion Area No. 1, for purposes of the Act, is March 1, 1990. The <br />Allocation Area shall be hereafter Down as "West Washington - Chapin Allocation <br />Area (West Washington - Chapin Allocation Area No. 1A)." <br />3. To accomplish redevelopment of the Area it is necessary to acquire <br />land within the Area as shown on the proposed Amendment A to the Development <br />Plan attached hereto and incorporated herein. <br />4. The Comprehensive Neighborhood Preservation and Development Plan of <br />the Near West Side Neighborhood, South Bend, Indiana, dated April, 1989 <br />attached hereto as Ametvchnent B and incorporated herein, is hereby adopted to <br />revise and supplement the West Washington - Chapin Development Area Development <br />Plan dated October 23, 1987. <br />
