MAV <br />STEP WELL <br />The curbside entry stepwell shall be a double step due to the drop skirt making the <br />initial step lower and therefore not ergonomic for entry into the vehicle. The steps <br />shall -be approximately equal in rise and run. <br />Y N <br />Mud Flaps, Rear, W/Logo, Std Model only <br />REAR MUD FLAPS <br />Wheeled Coach Logo mud flaps shall be installed just behind the rear tires. <br />Y N <br />PAINT/BELTS: <br />PREPARATION FOR PAINTING, COLOR AND MARKINGS <br />10.1 Color, Paint and Finish. Ambulance body and all attached <br />equipment exterior surfaces, except polished metal parts, shall be thoroughly <br />cleaned, treated, and coated with a firm primer and preservative with rust <br />inhibiting properties, and painted red to match the OEM chassis. Ferrous metal <br />interior surfaces shall be painted or, when not exposed for painting, shall be <br />treated or coated to resist corrosion. <br />The final stage manufacturer's painted components shall have a paint film not less <br />than 1.25 mils. thick and a minimum total thickness of 4 mils., including primers. <br />10083-0016 08/27/18 <br />23 <br />
