2019 International MV/PL Custom Titan 170 <br />Type I Ambulance Proposal Specification <br />• Manual mode and two (2) Automatic operation modes which maintain 20 ambient temperature from the set <br />point. <br />• In Auto 1 mode the fan speeds shall be automatically increased or decreased depending on the temperature <br />differential in the vehicle. Fan speeds are also manually selectable. <br />• In Auto 2 mode the fan speeds shall be automatically increased or decreased depending on the temperature <br />differential in the vehicle. Fan speeds are NOT manually selectable. <br />LED Indicators- Auto -Light Blue, A/C -Blue, Heat -Red <br />Operation shall be activated by chassis ignition with two (2) start-up modes available: <br />• "PK mode- Thermostat turns on using settings from the last use, including the 'OFF' condition. <br />• "PIL" mode- Thermostat turns on in Auto 1 mode with a set temperature of 72' regardless of previous <br />settings. <br />The thermostat unit temperature probe shall be located mid -level in the patient compartment. <br />An additional control panel and remote fan speed switch are available - <br />The use of spring or bimetallic household thermostat is unacceptable. Only automotive type units shall be used. <br />AUXILIARY COOLANT PUMP CLIMATE CONTROL <br />SYSTEM: <br />A Gorman -Rupp (GRI) auxiliary coolant pump with brushless motor shall be installed to increase coolant flow to the rear <br />heater core. The pump shall be sized to provide required heat to rear unit, while not reducing the effective heat in the <br />vehicle cab. A motorized hot water/coolant valve is part of this system to shut off the flow of hot water when not using <br />heat. The pump and valve shall be controlled by the vehicle climate control system thermostat. The pump and valve shall <br />be located in a protected location in a body compartment and easily serviceable if required. <br />INTERIOR AND COMPARTMENT UTILITY LIGHTING <br />DOME LIGHTING: <br />Six (6) Whelen 8000EHCR, Multiple -LED dome lights shall be equally spaced down both sides of the ceiling. Each light <br />shall include the High/Low intensity feature. The lights shall be relay controlled and have a lighted double throw switch in <br />the rear Life Support panel. All lights to be mounted to vehicle frame work, not to ceiling panel material. <br />DOME LIGHTS WITH DOOR OPEN: <br />The dome lights mounted in the ceiling of the vehicle shall be activated to the low intensity position when the personnel <br />entrance doors are open. The circuit shall be relay controlled and the dome light current shall not be controlled by the <br />door post switch. <br />EXTERIOR COMPARTMENT LED STRIP LIGHTING: <br />All exterior compartments shall be provided with LED adhesive backed strip lights, Each compartment shall have the <br />lights installed on both the left and right vertical side of the compartment. Lights shall be mounted on angled brackets for <br />maximum illumination into the compartment. The compartment lights shall be controlled by an automatic door post switch <br />in each door. The compartment open indication light shall activate anytime any compartment door is opened, The door <br />post switch shall activate the compartment lighting relays.
