2019 International MV/PL Custom Titan 170 <br />Type I Ambulance Proposal Specification <br />BACK-UP ALARM WITH DISABLE SWITCH: <br />An ECCO 61 ON with 97 dB rating backup alarm shall be installed under the rear step area of the vehicle. The backup <br />alarm shall have encapsulated electronics and no exposed terminals- all connections shall be watertight. The back-up <br />alarm shall be activated any time the vehicle is shifted into reverse gear, A relay controlled momentary cancel switch <br />shall be installed in the drivers console to disable the backup alarm when it may not be required. The circuitry shall be <br />designed to allow the alarm to be reset automatically and function the very next time the vehicle is placed in reverse. On - <br />Off type switch is not acceptable. <br />OPTRONICS HAND HELD SPOT LIGHT: <br />An Optronics Blue Eye, 400,000 CP Spotlight shall be provided, model number KB-4003. The light shall have a 400,000 <br />CP sealed beam bulb with a momentary "On" switch located on the handle <br />LOAD MANAGER/ SEQUENCER' <br />A combination Load Manager/Sequencer shall be installed in the driver's console, The Load Manager shall automatically <br />shed load to maintain balance between alternator output and draw, by turning predetermined functions to the off position. <br />The Load Manager shall include an override emergency bypass switch in the main electrical panel. <br />The sequencer function turns the emergency lighting on, one at a time in a predetermined order, and turns them off in <br />reverse order. <br />A Rotary Switch located in switch position one of the front console enables the Load Manager and activates the <br />quencer. <br />IN PARK LOAD MANAGEMENT <br />An In Park Light Management system shall be provided. The following lights shall be shut off when the Parking Brake is <br />set. <br />- All forward facing white lights, including wig wags, <br />SILENT SIGNAL SYSTEM: <br />A visual intercom, (Silent Signal System) shall be installed in both the front and rear switch panels. The rear panel shall <br />include (3) Rocker switches with Red, Green, and Amber switches which power (3) indicator lights mounted to the side of <br />the drivers console. In addition to the switches, a momentary button shall be provided to activate an electrical buzzer to <br />signal the attention of the driver via an audible indication. <br />AIR HORNS: <br />Air horn activation shall be as indicated in the OEM Chassis Specification and as shown below. <br />AIR HORN LANYARD: <br />The air horn electric solenoid shall be activated be a heavy duty lanyard switch located in the center of the cab ceiling. <br />The switch shall activate the ground side of the air solenoid and provide proper voltage spike protection.
