2019 International MV/PL Custom Titan 170 <br />Type I Ambulance Proposal Specification <br />All switches shall be mounted in a custom designed one piece panel for each vehicle. The switch panel shall be backlit <br />Light Emitting Diode lighting behind the individual switch legends. The switch panels shall be finished in a black matte <br />finish. All custom legends shall be made of matte black Lexan inserts with translucent lettering to designate each <br />function, When complete, the surface of the panel shall have a look of a homogeneous surface without the need for white <br />legends which appear to be an added on feature. All switch circuits shall be designed for the life of the vehicle, <br />BATTERY "ON" INDICATOR: <br />A Master battery "On" indicator shall be installed on the driver's console of vehicle. The indicator shall be a minimum of <br />1/2" in diameter and glow whenever the batteries are connected to the system. <br />DOOR OPEN INDICATOR LIGHT: <br />A Red indicator light shall be installed in the drivers switch console to indicate that an entrance door is ajar. The light will <br />activate whenever the master battery disconnect switch is activated and an entrance door is opened. The indicator shall <br />be a minimum of 1/2" in diameter. The door open indicator shall be relay controlled and the door post switches shall <br />activate the relay. <br />COMPARTMENT OPEN INDICATOR LIGHT: <br />An Amber indicator light shall be installed in the drivers switch console to indicate that a compartment door is ajar, The <br />light will activate whenever the master battery disconnect switch is activated and a compartment door is opened, The <br />indicator shall be a minimum of 1/2" in diameter. The compartment open indicators shall be relay controlled and the door <br />Ist switches shall activate the relay. <br />AUDIBLE DOORICOMPARTMENT OPEN ALARM: <br />A high decibel, electronic beeper alarm shall be installed and activate, when a module entrance door or compartment door <br />is opened. The alarm shall sound only when the vehicle is placed in drive or reverse and be independent of the door <br />open/compartment open warning lights in the console. The warning lights shall activate anytime an entrance or <br />compartment door is opened. <br />PARKING BRAKE ALARM AND INDICATOR: <br />The vehicle shall be equipped with a Dual -Mode alarm that will sound when the vehicles shift lever is in Neutral and the <br />Parking Brake is not applied. Secondly the alarm will sound when the vehicle gear selector is in reverse or a forward <br />drive gear and the Parking Brake is applied. The alarm shall include an indicator light in the drivers console and an <br />audible alarm that will sound when the condition exists when the vehicle is in the run mode and when the emergency <br />sequencer switch is on. <br />ELECTRONIC THROTTLE: <br />The OEM Chassis shall be equipped with an electronic throttle device which is specifically designed for use with this <br />emergency vehicle, The throttle shall activate under the following conditions: Parking brake set, engine running. and <br />vehicle in park. The throttle shall not activate whenever vehicle is in a transmission drive position or when the vehicle <br />service brake is applied, or accelerator pedal is depressed. <br />A4639-0001 08/24/18 <br />33 <br />
