2019 International MV/PL Custom Titan 170 <br />Type I Ambulance Proposal Specification <br />LIFE SUPPORT STATION STORAGE CABINET: <br />A storage cabinet shall be provided at the head of the Life Support Switch Panel. The storage cabinet shall have a hinged <br />transparent door with a Southco Polished Stainless Steel positive latch and one (1) adjustable shelf within the cabinet. <br />LIFE SUPPORT STATION UPPER STORAGE CABINET, <br />WITH RESTOCKING LIFT -UP DOOR: <br />Includes Austin Life Defender Lift Up Restocking Door. <br />A storage cabinet shall be provided above the Life Support Control Panel. The rear most edge shall have a 45 degree <br />angled panel to eliminate any obstructive corners in the area of the Life Support Station working area. The rear surface <br />shall be covered with a padded head bumper surface. The storage cabinet shall be provided with a full framed sliding <br />transparent cabinet door which is also capable of lifting for full restocking access to the cabinet and one (1) adjustable <br />shelf within the cabinet. The door shall be held open with two gas springs and held closed with a positive slam latch that <br />interacts with the striker in the event of an impact, The frame shall be made of a custom designed aluminum extrusion and <br />held together internally with corner connectors and externally with a screwed in aluminum corner casting; glued or <br />epoxied construction is unacceptable. The doors are to be .220" polycarbonate material. The entire lower edge shall be <br />padded to prevent sharp edges. <br />MEGANITE COUNTER TOP FRONT COUNTER AREA: <br />The counter surface in the front Life Support Station shall be covered with "Silver Mist" color, genuine Meganite solid <br />surface counter top material. The Meganite shall be permanently bonded and sized to cover the entire surface of the <br />counter area. The counter top shall have a 1 " built-in lip around the entire perimeter for containment purposes. The edge <br />,�f the counter top facing inboard shall be a 1.5" radius, ABS or other plastic counter surfaces are not acceptable. <br />PULL-OUT WRITING I STROAGE SURFACE, LSS: <br />An aluminum drawer with a gas spring hold open/close device shall be installed below the Life Support Station counter. A <br />Lexan writing surface shall be provided inside the drawer, flush with the top of the drawer interior. This surface shall be <br />hinged approximately 15 1/2" back to allow access to storage space i n the drawer.
