2019 International MV/PL Custom Titan 170 <br />Type I Ambulance Proposal Specification <br />(he forward section of this cabinet shall provide two (2) cutouts, (1) for a department supplied two-way radio and (1) for a <br />department suppied Sigtronics US-45D Intercom Control Unit. <br />LEFT SIDE ATTENDANT SEAT' <br />A left side attendant seat shall be built into the left wall cabinets. It shall incorporate a 24" wide x 20" deep seat area with <br />a cushion which is 21 " above the floor, a backrest, and a separate headrest. The seat shall be designed for a single <br />seating position. In order to prevent injury during vehicle motion both the forward and rear cabinets that are immediately <br />adjacent to the left side attendant, seat shall include full size padded head bumpers with a 1 " thick padding. Designs <br />which do not include this padding are unacceptable. <br />All vertical surfaces to the front and rear of the seat cushion shall be fully padded and wrap around the top of the counter <br />to provide a full armrest. <br />LEFT SIDE ATTENDANT SEAT BACKREST: <br />A left side attendant seat shall include a Valor seat backs with integrated 4 point harness system. Seating system is fully <br />compliant with Change Notice 8, SAE J3026. <br />OVERHEAD STORAGE CABINET WITH RESTOCKING <br />LIFT -UP DOOR:: <br />Includes Austin Life Defender Lift Up Restocking Door. <br />An overhead storage cabinet shall be installed above the left side attendant seat. The width of the cabinet shall be the <br />of the left side attendant seat area. The interior cabinet shall be provided with a full framed sliding transparent <br />Jbinet door which is also capable of lifting for full restocking access to the cabinet, The door shall be held open with two <br />gas springs and held closed with a positive slam latch that interacts with the striker in the event of an impact. The frame <br />shall be made of a custom designed aluminum extrusion and held together internally with corner connectors and <br />externally with a screwed in aluminum corner casting; glued or epoxied construction is unacceptable. The doors are to be <br />.220" polycarbonate material. The entire lower edge shall be padded to prevent sharp edges. <br />LIFE SUPPORT STATION <br />LIFE SUPPORT STATIONISWITCH PANEL: <br />The rear Life Support control and switch panel shall be mounted to the underside of the upper cabinet. The oxygen outlets <br />shall be mounted in the panel to provide use of a ball type flow meter with humidifier bottle attached. The entire panel <br />shall be hinged to provide full access of components for servicing. An adequate area shall be provided alongside the <br />switches for permanent built-in installation of two-way communications radio. <br />SWITCH PANEL COVERING: <br />The switch panel shall be covered with padded vinyl covering which matches the upholstery in the vehicle, The padding <br />shall be 1/8" thick and glued in place prior to the installation of the custom made stitched vinyl cover. <br />REAR MAIN SWITCH PANEL LOCATION: <br />The Rear Main Switch Panel shall be located in the LSS Switch Pod. <br />A4539-0001 <br />08/24/18 <br />21 <br />
