Board met in regular session at 7:45 P.M. All members present. Defferred' hearing had on Pipe sewer on Golden Avenue from Portage Avenue to Woodward Avenue, under Improvement Resolution No. 402. In the City of South Bend, Indiana. Upon said hearing a remonstrators appeared but no remonstrance was filed. And. the Board being -'ally advised in the premises, decides that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvements are equal to the estimated cost of the same, as reported. by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final action on said resolution as originally adopted, and the same is hereby in ell things ratified, confirmed nd approved. Resolved further, that notices be published on the 2nd. day of September 1915 d on the 9th. day of September,1915 in a newspaper of general circulation in said City, staling that thL3 Board will receive bids for the construction df said improvements up to 10:00 A.M. on the 21st. day of Septemberw*1915. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Hearing given on Condemnation Resolution No. 39 for the Widening of Indiana Avenue from Prairie Avenue to Webster Street and Webster Street from Indiana Avenue to Prairie Avenue, in the City o-' South Bend, Indiena. In the above matter Mr. W. G. Crabill, aptorney for James Oliver Estate appeared and remonstrated and filed a written remonstrance, also, Wm. A. Mclner1w, Attorney for Thomas W. Slick, Harry Brazy and John W. Swyga,rt appeared and filed, a written remonstrance against said condemnation also other property owners re::..onstrated. The Board after due consideration decided to defer all action on said condemnation resolution No. 39. until Tuesday September 7th.1915. at 7:45 P.M. Hearing on assessment roll and final estimate for pipe serr4r on Dale Avenue from Duba,il Avenue to Dayton Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 376. In tine City of South Bend, Indiana. In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrance was filed. The Board find that the property assessed in said roll filed August loth., 1915 is benefitted in the amount of assessments as shown on said rolls, and the Board further find that the assessment roll filed August 10th.,1915 and the final estimate allowed August 10th.,1915. should be and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. r Engineer filed assessment roll and final estimate for Water connections on Tonti Avenue from Lafayette.St reet to Tecumseh Avenue, under Improvement Resolution No. 396. In the City of South Bend, Indiana. Resolved, that notice as to the amounts of assessments be published on the 3rd.. day of September,1915 and on the loth. day of September,1915 In.the City of South Bend, Indianan stating that this Board will give a hearing on the amount of such assessments at its office in the City Hall on the 21st. day of Septem er,1915 at 7:45 Resolved further, that the entire work under the above contracts be accepted and approved anri ty,a fine) estimate thereon allowed.. Notice of this resolution be published on the 3rd..day of September,1915 and on the loth. day of September,1915 in the South Bend Daily Tribune, stating that this Board will giveAa hearing on the acceptance of such work at its office in the City Hall on the 21st. day of September,1915 at 7:45 P.M.
