<br />COUNTY STATE O I*TDIANA, Thatti it is deemed necessary, to imP_rove Ford Street from the
<br />east line of Arnold Street to' he'east end of said Ford Street as follovrs,to-wit:-
<br />By constructing cement curb and walk on the north side of said Ford Street
<br />All as shot,,m on the profiles and in accordance with the plans, dets.il drawings and
<br />specifications on file in the offce of the Department of Public Works of the City of
<br />South Bend,Indianain accordan ce with the profile, details, drawings c.nd specification
<br />on file in the office of the Department of the Board of Public Works of seid City;
<br />and such improvement is now ordered.
<br />The,cost of said improvement, including the cost of street and alley inter-
<br />sections, shall be assessed upon the real estate abutting on said Ford Street all
<br />according to the method and manner provided for in an Act of the General Assembly of
<br />the State of India._na, entitled "An Act Concer_li cipa,l Corporations," approved
<br />March 6,1905, and in accordance with and pursuant -� o the p rov is is ions 'of all 'amendat oft
<br />and supplemental acts thereto, passed by the General Assembly of the 'State of Indiana.

<br />est At the rate of Six Per Cent per annum. A bond or bonds shall be issued to
<br />the contractor in payment o� suc1l 5,-ork, unless the property owners pay said assess-
<br />ment before said bond cr bonds are Asued. Under no c raumstences shall the City of
<br />South Bend, be held responsible for any sum or sums, due from said property owner
<br />or owners for said work or for the collection of the same, or for the payment of e.ny
<br />bond„ bonds, certificate or certificates, ftssued to said contractor in payment for
<br />such work, except for such moneys as shall have been actuall�r received by the City
<br />from the assessments for such improvement, or such moneys as said City is by said
<br />above entitled Act required to pay. All proceedings had, and work done in the
<br />making of said improvement, assessment of property, mllection of e,ssessments and
<br />issuance of bonds therefor,, : shall -be as p rovi deO for in said above entitled Act

<br />County, Indiana, That it is deemed and desired necessary to Widen Ewing Avenue to
<br />a unidorm width of sixty (60) feet from the east line of Michigan' Street to the
<br />west line of Fellows Street in the City of South Bend, St. Joseph County-1 Indiana,
<br />by the condemnation and appropriation of sufficient lots and lands�.for such widening
<br />specifically described as follows,to-wit:-
<br />Begin 20 feet south of .the north east corner of west 1/2 ar narth
<br />west 1/4 of Section 24 Tp. 37 N. R. 2 E. thence south 10 feet; thence west -115
<br />feet more or less to the east line of Michigan Street; thence north 10 feet;
