This existing road is currently maintained <br />by the City. <br />South Michigan Street -Ireland to Chippewa $2,000,000 (2005) <br />& Ireland -Lafayette to Michigan <br />Intersection improvements are needed to reduce congestion on all legs of the Ireland/Michigan <br />intersection including Main at Ireland and Lafayette at Ireland. The new Parks Administration and <br />Recreation Center on Walter Street will require improvements on Michigan Street at Walter, <br />including removal ofnon-mountable center median on Michigan Street. No pedestrian facilities are <br />installed on either side of Michigan, Main, or Ireland. Access control is needed on the west side of <br />Michigan.
