SWEARING IN OF COMMISSIONERS (CONY) <br />the Commission until such time as a successor is named <br />and appointed. <br />The Council has requested Commissioners to submit <br />their letters asking to be reappointed in September of <br />each year so there is time to advertise the openings and <br />consider all applicants before making appointments <br />effective January 1. <br />3. ELECTION OF OFFICERS <br />Ms. Jones conducted the election of officers. ELECTION OF OFFICERS FOR 2006 <br />PR F.CTnF,NT <br />Mr. Hojnacki nominated Ms. Marcia Jones to serve as <br />President of the South Bend Redevelopment <br />Commission. The nomination was seconded by Mr. <br />Downes. There were no further nominations. The vote <br />being unanimous, Ms. Marcia Jones was elected <br />President for 2006. <br />VICE PRESIDENT <br />Mr. Hojnacki nominated Mr. Karl King to serve as Vice <br />President of the South Bend Redevelopment <br />Commission. The nomination was seconded by <br />Downes. There were no further nominations. The vote <br />being unanimous, Mr. King was elected Vice President <br />for 2006. <br />~F,CRF,TARV <br />Mr. Hojnacki nominated Mr. Gregory Downes to serve <br />as Secretary of the South Bend Redevelopment <br />Commission. The nomination was seconded by Ms. <br />Jones. There were no further nominations. The vote <br />being unanimous, Mr. Gregory Downes was elected <br />Secretary for 2006. <br />2 <br />
