South Bend Redevelopment Commission Regular Meeting -January 3, 2006 4. ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION N0.2205 SETTING MAXIMUM SALARIES FOR 2006 AND APPOINTING STAFF Mr. Inks noted that the salaries in Resolution No. 2205 correspond to the salaries approved by the Common Council for these positions in 2006. Staff do not necessarily receive the maximum salary for their positions and not every job classification is filled at the present time. Upon a motion by Mr. Hojnacki, seconded by Mr. Downes and unanimously carried, the Commission approved Resolution No. 2205 setting maximum salaries for 2006 and appointing staff. Mr. King asked the staff to prepare progress reports in early December to distribute to Commissioners. He noted that when he chaired the Community & Economic Development Committee of the Council, the committee expressed interest in receiving an annual report from its appointees to the Redevelopment Commission. The progress reports could serve as that annual report. Mr. Inks noted that the Commission is required by law to submit an annual report to the Council in February. The staff could provide a preliminary report in the same format in early December for the Council's consideration in making its appointments to the Commission each year. 5. SET REGULAR MEETING TIMES FOR 2006 Ms. Jones noted that unless otherwise scheduled the meetings for 2006 will be held at 10:00 a.m. on the first and third Fridays of every month. Upon a motion by Mr. King, seconded by Mr. Downes and unanimously carried, the Regular Meetings of the Redevelopment Commission for 2006 were set for 10:00 a.m. local time on the first and third Fridays of every month.
