SWEARING IN OF COMMISSIONERS <br />Mr. John Voorde, City Clerk, administered the oath of <br />office to the following Commissioners: Mr. Karl King, <br />Gregory Downes, and Mr. Hardie Blake. Ms. Marcia <br />Jones and Mr. William Hojnacki were not yet <br />reappointed by the Common Council. <br />Ms. Greene noted that Indiana Code 36.7.14-6.1 governs <br />the appointment of Commissioners. IC 36.7.14-7 <br />provides that each Commissioner serves fora 1-year <br />term from the 1St day of January after and until a <br />successor is appointed and qualified. Commissioners <br />Jones and Hojnacki, who were both appointed by the <br />South Bend Common Council, will continue to serve on <br />SWEARING IN OF COMMISSIONERS BY CITY <br />CLERK, JOHN VOORDE <br />
