West Washington-Chapin Development Area <br /> (1) continued... <br /> Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by COMMISSION APPROVED RESOLUTION No.2915 <br /> Ms. King and unanimously carried, the APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION <br /> Commission approved Resolution No. 2915 OF AN ADDENDUM TO THE MASTER AGENCY <br /> AGREEMENT(TAYLOR WASHINGTON <br /> approving and authorizing the execution of DEMOLITIONS). <br /> an Addendum to the Master Agency <br /> Agreement (Taylor Washington <br /> Demolitions). <br /> (2) Proposal for professional services for the <br /> northwest corner of West Washington & <br /> Taylor Streets. (Asbestos Inspection <br /> Reports). <br /> Mr. Relos noted that before demolition specs <br /> can be written for the two structures <br /> referenced above, an asbestos inspection <br /> needs to be completed for each of them. <br /> These structures are at 601 — 605 W. <br /> Washington and 109 — 111 N. Taylor. <br /> In addition, 601 — 605 W. Washington was a <br /> gas station in the 1930's— 1940's. It is <br /> recommended that Ground Penetrating Radar <br /> (GPR) be used to ensure no underground <br /> storage tanks remain, though it is expected <br /> they do not. <br /> The cost to do these inspections is as follows: <br /> 109 — 111 N. Taylor: <br /> $800, asbestos inspection <br /> 601 — 605 W. Washington: <br /> $800, asbestos inspection <br /> $700, GPR <br /> 27 <br />
