South Bend Redevelopment Commission Regular Meeting - February 16, 2001 6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) j. continued... Upon a motion by Mr. Kahn, seconded by Mr. Caldwell and unanimously carried, the Commission approved the application to the Board of Public Works to encroach onto the Public Right of Way in the South Bend Central Development Area. (Installation of "hanging canopy" signs at the Michigan St. shops) k. Commission approval requested for permission to host the "World's Largest Garage Sale" on Saturday, June 2, 2001 in the Wayne St. garage located in the South Bend Central Development Area. Mr. Giulioni stated that the Parks and Recreation Department holds this event every year and that they have submitted the necessary indemnification information to the Commission for approval. Upon a motion by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mr. Kahn and unanimously carried, the Commission approved the request to hold the "World's Largest Garage Sale" in the Wayne St. garage located in the South Bend Central Development Area on June 2, 2001. I. Commission approval requested for Certificate of Completion for property located in the South Bend Central Development Area. (312 -316 East South St.) Mr. Inks explained that the property was sold to Southhold Restoration, Inc. in 1993 and the Certificate of Completion was never issued.
