NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />h. continued... <br />Mr. Giulioni explained that with the departure of <br />Ann Kolata from full -time employment last <br />summer, that staff had neglected to have the <br />document executed. He noted that no <br />Commission action was necessary. <br />i. Commission approval requested for Sign <br />Affidavit related to the installation of signs for <br />the Michigan St. Shops in the South Bend <br />Central Development Area. <br />Mr. Giulioni explained that the Sign Affidavit is <br />necessary for the installation of the signs for the <br />Michigan St. Shops. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by <br />Mr. Kahn and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the Sign Affidavit related <br />to the installation of signs for the Michigan St. <br />Shops in the South Bend Central Development <br />Area. <br />j. Commission approval requested for the <br />Request to the Board of Public Works to <br />encroach onto the Public Right of Way in the <br />South Bend Central Development Area. <br />(Installation of "hanging canopy" signs at the <br />Michigan St. shops) <br />Mr. Giulioni explained that the Commission <br />needs permission from the Board of Public <br />Works to encroach onto the public right of way <br />in order to hang the signs for the Michigan St. <br />shops. <br />-8- <br />NO COMMISSION ACTION NECESSARY <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE SIGN <br />AFFIDAVIT RELATED TO THE INSTALLATION <br />OF SIGNS FOR THE MICHIGAN ST.
