NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />e. continued... <br />Mr. Giulioni explained that WESCO Fountains <br />had been contracted by the Parks Department to <br />do the renovation of the fountain. The <br />equipment to be purchased is the pump system in <br />the amount of $31,811 and the lighting system in <br />the amount of $18,426, for a total amount of <br />$50,237. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Kahn, seconded by <br />Mr. Caldwell and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the purchase of equipment <br />related to the renovation of the Morris <br />Performing Arts Center Fountain in the South <br />Bend Central Development Area. (WESCO <br />Fountains) <br />L Commission approval requested for <br />professional appraisal services in the South <br />Bend Central Development Area. ( Baer's <br />Parking Lot) <br />Mr. Giulioni stated that staff had received three <br />proposals for appraisal services relating to the <br />disposition of the Baer's Parking Lot, for the <br />purpose of setting the fair market value for the <br />lot's future sale or lease. One proposal is from <br />the Appraisal Group, Inc. in the amount of <br />$2,400; the second proposal is from Douglas L. <br />Carpenter in the amount of $1,200; and the third <br />proposal is from Farrington Appraisals, Inc. in <br />the amount of $1,900. Staff recommended <br />accepting the proposals from Douglas L. <br />Carpenter and Farrington Appraisals, Inc. <br />on <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE PURCHASE OF <br />EQUIPMENT RELATED TO THE RENOVATION <br />OF THE MORRIS PERFORMING ARTS CENTER <br />FOUNTAIN IN THE SOUTH BEND CENTRAL <br />DEVELOPMENT AREA (WESCO FOUNTAINS) <br />
