The staff is requesting that the approval be rescinded. Upon a motion by Mr. Faccenda, seconded by Mr. Caldwell and unanimously carried, the Commission rescinded the May 4, 2001 approval of the proposal from Hull and Associates, Inc. for environmental consulting services in the Sample Ewing Development Area. d. Commission approval requested for facade signage package in the Airport Economic Development Area. (Indiana Supply Corporation in the U.S. 31 Industrial Park) Mr. Schalliol noted that due to an inconvenient requirement in the development process for the Airport Economic Development Area, any request that requires a variance has to come before the Redevelopment Commission. The staff is trying change the requirement, but in the meantime there are three requests that need to come before the Commission. Indiana Supply needs a variance from the sign display area regulations to display a sign of 146 sft. The regulations permit 100 sft or 5% of the building facade, whichever is less. 5% of Indiana Supply's facade is 156 sft, so the request does not exceed the 5 %. Upon a motion by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mr. Faccenda and unanimously carried, the Commission approved the facade signage package in the Airport Economic Development Area.
