South Bend Central Development Area <br />(Continued...) <br />(2) Continued... <br />Lehman because they have developed quite <br />a bit of institutional knowledge on the East <br />Bank and have become an integral player <br />with the City in the development of this <br />master plan. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Jones, seconded by <br />Mr. Faccenda and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the Revised Master <br />Plan Agreement with Lehman and Lehman <br />for professional services in the East Bank <br />project area of the South Bend Central <br />Development Area. <br />D. Sample -Ewing Development Area <br />(1) Commission approval requested for <br />Phase 1 Environmental Assessment in the <br />Sample -Ewing Development Area. (1100 <br />block of South Michigan St.) <br />Mr. Schalliol explained that as we work <br />toward the acquisition of three properties in <br />the 1100 block of South Michigan St., we <br />needed Phase I Environmental reviews <br />performed. The three properties are 1115 S. <br />Michigan, the vacant lot north and adjacent <br />to 1123 S. Michigan St. and 1123 S. <br />Michigan. Four responses were received for <br />this project: EIS proposed to complete the <br />work in a two -week time frame for $900; <br />Envirocorp proposed a 10 -15 -day time <br />frame for $1,600; Weaver Boos and Gordon <br />proposed a two -week time frame for $1,200; <br />and Wightman Petrie proposed a two -week <br />8 <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE REVISED MASTER <br />PLAN AGREEMENT WITH LEHMAN AND LEHMAN <br />FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES IN THE EAST BANK <br />PROJECT AREA OF THE SOUTH BEND CENTRAL <br />DEVELOPMENT AREA <br />
