Sample -Ewing Development Area <br />(1) continued... <br />Mr. Mariani reported that the proposal is for <br />replatting 51 individual lots and several <br />vacated streets and alleys, approximately nine <br />acres total, into one lot to facilitate transfer to <br />the South Bend Parks Department for <br />development of the new Southeast <br />Neighborhood Park. Two bids were received <br />and the quotes are as follows: <br />The Abonmarche Group $ 3,500 <br />Wightman Petrie, Inc. $15,000 <br />Mr. Mariani noted that the difference in price <br />is due to The Abonmarche Group's extensive <br />work history in the Southeast Neighborhood. <br />Many required replat preparatory items have <br />previously been completed by Abonmarche. <br />Staff recommends accepting the proposal <br />from The Abonmarche Group in the amount <br />of $3,500. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Kahn, seconded by <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE PROPOSAL FROM <br />Ms. Roemer and unanimously carried, the <br />THE ABONMARCHE GROUP FOR PROFESSIONAL <br />Commission approved the proposal from The <br />SERVICES IN THE SAMPLE -EWING DEVELOPMENT <br />AREA.
