South Bend Central Development Area <br />(2) continued... <br />Jefferson project site. The total amount of <br />the proposal is $4,000; however, the amount <br />excludes the potential for additional or <br />unanticipated filing fees. Staff recommends <br />accepting the proposal from Lang, Feeney <br />and Associates, Inc. in the not -to- exceed <br />amount of $5,000. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Kahn, seconded by <br />Ms. Roemer and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the proposal from <br />Lang, Feeney and Associates, Inc. for <br />professional services in the South Bend <br />Central Development Area. (Survey, replat <br />and alley vacation, Main and Jefferson <br />project) <br />(3) Receipt of Bids for 129 Michigan Street in <br />the South Bend Central Development <br />Area. <br />Mr. Williams noted that bids for a retail shop <br />located at 129 Michigan Street were due by <br />October 18, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. No bids were <br />received by the 10:00 a.m. deadline. The <br />property will continue to be for sale. After <br />thirty days the price can be negotiated. <br />There was no action required by the <br />Commission. <br />D.
