Submitted application for $1,000,000 <br />Brownfields Revolving Loan for <br />Fredrickson Park. Loan was submitted <br />to IDFA for Indiana's EPA funded loan <br />program. Project has been approved. <br />Final paperwork should come soon. <br />Expect to have major remediation work <br />completed before summer and entire <br />c, -6- <br />preservation groups regarding the <br />preservation of structures and possibility <br />of locating a museum on the Oliver site. <br />21. <br />Worked with other department staff and <br />city engineering staff on location of new <br />road for Oliver Industrial Park to try to <br />have it align with relocated United <br />Drive. <br />22. <br />Worked with environmental attorneys to <br />search for insurance documentation in <br />archives in order to pursue insurance <br />recovery as a funding source for <br />environmental remediation. <br />23. <br />Consulted with environmental attorneys <br />to pursue our claim filed with Allied <br />Products' bankruptcy. The judge is <br />expected to rule on several motions in <br />early January. <br />24. <br />Established a Community Revitalization <br />Enhancement District (CREED) in order <br />to capture sales tax increment and state <br />income tax increment from the CREED. <br />25. <br />Prepared packet of information for <br />funding request to Department of <br />Transportation for infrastructure <br />improvements for the Studebaker /Oliver <br />project. <br />Brownfields <br />26.
