Finalize Remediation Work Plan for <br />Area A (South of Sample St., East of <br />Prairie Avenue, see map attached) and <br />Area C (Oliver Plow Complex, see map <br />attached)- Indiana Voluntary <br />Remediation Program. <br />13. Developing recommendations for <br />institutional controls as part of <br />remediation strategy for Areas A <br />(South of Sample St, East of Praire <br />Avenue, see map attached) and C <br />(Oliver Plow Complex, see map <br />attached). <br />14. Made seven presentations to <br />community organizations about the <br />Studebaker/ <br />Oliver project. <br />15. Prior to the start of demolition, <br />conducted 26 tours of the Oliver Plow <br />site for various groups. <br />16. Organized "Oliver: A Day for <br />Memories" in conjunction with the <br />Northern Indiana Center for History. <br />Approximately 50 people attended the <br />September 3rd event. <br />17. Have begun negotiations with three <br />potential users of the Oliver Industrial <br />Park. <br />18. Hired appraisers to prepare disposition <br />appraisals for Oliver Industrial Park. <br />The property should go up for bid in <br />February/March 2003. <br />19. Conducted engineering study of Oliver <br />Boilerhouse and Old Forge Shop <br />(buildings 46 and 47) in order to <br />determine structural stabilization and <br />redevelopment costs. <br />20.
