Sample -Ewing Development Area <br />(1) continued... <br />reasonable promptness. <br />► Whether the property when improved <br />will be sold or rented. <br />► The bidder's proposed sale or rental <br />prices. <br />► The bidder's compliance with all of the <br />bid proposal requirements. <br />► Any other factors that will assure the <br />Commission that the sale or lease, if <br />made, will further the execution of the <br />redevelopment plan for the area and best <br />serve the interest of the community from <br />the standpoint of both human and <br />economic welfare. <br />Ms. Greene also advised that the <br />Commission is not obligated to award the <br />bid at this time. The Commission may <br />accept a bid, it may reject a bid and it may <br />make an award to the highest and best <br />bidder. The Commission has total <br />discretion. The Commission may postpone <br />the award to a future meeting if it needs time <br />to deliberate or solicit further information. <br />Mr. Faccenda commented that he would not <br />want to choose between two good members <br />of the community with fifteen minutes worth <br />of thought about it. <br />Ms. Greene advised that if the Commission <br />wished to take the time to consider the two <br />proposals, then any decision the <br />Commission makes must be made at a <br />public meeting.
