South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting —March 21, 2003 <br />5. OLD BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />A. Sample -Ewing Development Area <br />(1) continued... <br />building. It would not be possible to start <br />construction now due to a current lease in <br />the existing location. <br />Mr. Kahn asked how long the lease is for. <br />Mr. Keihnan replied five more years. <br />Mr. Blake asked how long it would take to <br />complete construction of the building if they <br />were forced to relocate sooner because of <br />the sale of their current building. <br />Mr. Keilman responded that from the time <br />r they issued notice to proceed the building <br />should be completed in less than six months. <br />Ms. Greene noted for the record that the <br />proposal submitted is complete. It includes <br />the Affidavit of Non - Collusion, Proposal <br />Forms, the Statement of Qualifications and <br />Financial Responsibility, the Statement For <br />Public Disclosure. There is a letter which <br />also accompanies the submission that <br />provides information and narrative of the <br />overall project and a diagram of the project <br />for Commission review. <br />Mr. Schalliol noted that the ten percent <br />performance guarantee was not requested <br />based on the fact that it would only have <br />been ten dollars. <br />
