South Bend Central Development Area <br />(6) continued... <br />and authorized staff to retain The Center For <br />The Homeless based on the scope of <br />services and fee proposed. <br />(7) Staff report on request for use of the <br />Wayne Street Garage. (Rooftop <br />Rendezvous) <br />Mr. Williams reported that the Commission <br />approved the use of the Wayne Street garage <br />at the February 7, 2003 Redevelopment <br />Commission Meeting for the AIDS <br />Ministries Rooftop Rendezvous. The dates <br />approved were June 20, July 11 and <br />August 8, 2003. A request was made by the <br />AIDS Ministries to change the August 8, <br />2003 date to August 15, 2003 which was <br />approved by the Commission on March 7, <br />2003. A second request has been made to <br />change the August 15, 2003 date to <br />August 22, 2003 due to other downtown <br />event conflicts. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Kahn, seconded by <br />Mr. Blake and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the AIDS Ministries <br />request for a second change of date for the <br />use of the Wayne Street garage. (Rooftop <br />Rendezvous) <br />B. Sample -Ewing Development Area <br />There was no business in the Sample -Ewing <br />Development Area. <br />15 <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE REQUEST FOR A <br />SPRING CLEAN -UP AND MOWING CONTRACT IN <br />THE SOUTH BEND CENTRAL DEVELOPMENT <br />AREA AND AUTHORIZED STAFF TO RETAIN THE <br />CENTER FOR THE HOMELESS BASED ON THE <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE PROPOSED. <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE AIDS MINISTRIES <br />REQUEST FOR A SECOND CHANGE OF DATE FOR <br />THE USE OF THE WAYNE STREET GARAGE. <br />(ROOFTOP RENDEZVOUS) <br />THERE WAS NO BUSINESS IN THE SAMPLE -EWING <br />DEVELOPMENT AREA. <br />
