South Bend Central Development Area <br />(5) continued... <br />not had the opportunity to do so personally. <br />Ms. Greene recommended that if the <br />Commission approves the security contract, <br />they do so subject to final approval from the <br />Legal Department. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Kahn, seconded by <br />Mr. Blake and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the Security Guard <br />Service Agreement between Mikolajewski & <br />Associates, Inc. and the City of South Bend, <br />subject to final Legal review. (Main & <br />Colfax, Wayne Street and Jefferson Street <br />garages.) <br />(6 ) Commission approval requested for <br />proposal for Mowing and Clean -up <br />Contract in the South Bend Central <br />Development Area. <br />Mr. Williams reported that eight proposals <br />were requested for a 2003 Spring Clean-up <br />and weekly Mowing Contract in the South <br />Bend Central Development Area. Four <br />quotes were received with the lowest bidder <br />being The Center For The Homeless. Staff <br />recommends accepting the proposal from <br />The Center For The Homeless for the 2003 <br />contract. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Kahn, seconded by <br />Mr. Blake and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the request for a <br />Spring Clean-up and Mowing Contract in <br />the South Bend Central Development Area <br />14 <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE SECURITY GUARD <br />SERVICE AGREEMENT BETWEEN MIKOLAJEWSKI <br />& ASSOCIATES, INC. AND THE CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND, SUBJECT TO FINAL LEGAL REVIEW. (MAIN <br />& COLFAX, WAYNE STREET AND JEFFERSON <br />STREET GARAGES.) <br />
