South Bend Central Development Area <br />(2) continued... <br />the short to medium term is as an <br />improved parking lot. The property shall <br />remain as a parking lot for a period of <br />five years from the date construction is <br />completed or such earlier date as the <br />Redevelopment Commission and Buyer <br />may mutually agree. <br />► The improved parking lot must contain <br />landscaping and lighting that is <br />consistent with the surrounding area. <br />► Any proposed long term development <br />must be sensitive to the height, layout <br />and building materials of the <br />surrounding buildings. <br />IL ► All existing curb cuts to public right -of- <br />ways must be reduced to the minimum <br />necessary for efficient traffic flow. <br />► Bidders are required to present their <br />proposals at the April 18, 2003 Regular <br />Meeting of the Redevelopment <br />Commission. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Kahn, seconded by <br />Mr. Blake and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the Bid <br />Specifications and Design Considerations <br />for property in the South Bend Central <br />Development Area. Monroe Street, <br />Former Key Bank Drive -Thru) <br />(3) Commission authorization requested to <br />publish the Notice for Disposition of Land <br />with publication dates of March 28, 2003 <br />and April 4, 2003 and Receipt of Bids at <br />10:00 a.m. on April 18, 2003.
