L, 6. NEW BUSINESS <br />A. South Bend Central Development Area <br />(4) Commission approval requested for <br />proposal for professional services in the <br />South Bend Central Development Area. <br />(Appraisal work, 106 S. St. Louis Blvd.) <br />Mr. Williams reported that five (5) <br />proposals were requested for appraisal <br />services for property located at 106 S. St. <br />Louis Blvd. Three (3) proposals were <br />received as follows: <br />Appraisal Specialists $1,800 <br />Jerome E. Michaels, MAI $ 500 <br />Witt Appraisal Specialists $ 475 <br />Two appraisals are required and staff <br />recommends accepting the proposals from <br />Jerome E. Michaels and Witt Appraisal <br />Specialists in the amounts of $500 and $475, <br />respectively. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Faccenda, seconded <br />by Mr. Blake and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the request for <br />professional services in the South Bend <br />Central Development Area and authorized <br />staff to retain Jerome E. Michaels, MAI and <br />Witt Appraisal Specialists based on the <br />scope of services and fee proposed. <br />(Appraisal work, 106 S.
