South Bend Central Development Area <br />(3) continued... <br />Danch, Hamer & Associates $1,000 <br />Lang, Feeney & Associates $ 550 <br />Wightman Petrie, Inc. $1,000 <br />Staff recommends accepting the proposal <br />from Lang, Feeney & Associates in the <br />amount of $550. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Faccenda, seconded <br />by Mr. Blake and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the request for <br />professional services in the South Bend <br />Central Development Area and authorized <br />staff to retain Lang, Feeney & Associates <br />based on the scope of services and fee <br />proposed. (Survey work, Blessings Music & <br />two (2) vacant lots, Main/Western Project) <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />A. South Bend Central Development Area <br />(1) Receipt and opening of bids in connection <br />with property located at 401 E. Monroe <br />(Key Bank Drive Thru) in the South Bend <br />Central Development Area. <br />Mr. Rock reported that one (1) proposal was <br />received, which was then opened and given <br />to legal counsel for review. The proposal <br />was from Press Ganey Real Estate, LLP. <br />Ms. Greene advised that the proposal <br />submitted contains properly signed proposal <br />forms, including the Statement of <br />Qualifications and Financial Responsibility, <br />Income Statement, Affidavit of Non - <br />collusion, Nondiscrimination Statement, as <br />well as the Statement for Public Disclosure. <br />Ms. Greene stated that the bid is complete. <br />5 <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE REQUEST FOR <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES IN THE SOUTH BEND <br />CENTRAL DEVELOPMENT AREA AND <br />AUTHORIZED STAFF TO RETAIN LANG, FEENEY & <br />ASSOCIATES BASED ON THE SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />AND FEE PROPOSED.
