Public Hearing <br />(2) continued.... <br />Ms. Greene recommended that the <br />Commission authorize the thirty-day period <br />of time to be extended an additional thirty <br />days if negotiations seem to be proceeding to <br />resolution of the issues. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Kahn, seconded by <br />Mr. Faccenda and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission authorized a thirty-day <br />extension to the thirty-day period of time for <br />filing suit if negotiations seem to be <br />proceeding to resolution of the issues. <br />B. South Bend Central Development Area <br />(1) Commission approval requested for <br />proposal for professional services on four <br />properties located in the South Bend <br />Central Development Area. (Phase I <br />environmental services) <br />Mr. Rock noted that these properties were <br />recently added to the SBCDA acquisition <br />list. The properties are the Inwoods <br />Building, Blessings Music Store, and two (2) <br />parking lots (one north and one south of <br />Blessings Music). Staff requests permission <br />to request a Phase I environmental <br />inspection on the property. Staff has <br />received three (3) proposals for that work: <br />Envirocorp $3,500 <br />Wightman Petrie $3,900 <br />Grauvogel and Assoc. $3,025 <br />15 <br />COMMISSION AUTHORIZED A THIRTY -DAY <br />EXTENSION TO THE THIRTY -DAY PERIOD OF TIME <br />FOR FILING SUIT IF NEGOTIATIONS SEEM TO BE <br />PROCEEDING TO RESOLUTION OF THE ISSUES. <br />
