South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting —June 6, 2003 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />A. Public Hearing <br />(1) continued.... <br />MS. GREENE: They could make affirmative <br />recognition of your right to extend that —to <br />come in after the thirty days —which the <br />Commission has done previously on other <br />property acquisitions. So there is precedent. <br />Mr. Hunt closed the Public Hearing for <br />whatever action the Commission wished to <br />take. <br />Mr. Hunt noted that he couldn't agree more <br />with Mr. Masters' statement about the need <br />to acquire and demolish the three buildings <br />IL on the other side of Monroe Street from <br />McNease Music Company. <br />(2) Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 1973. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Jones, seconded by COMMISSION APPROVED RESOLUTION No. 1973, <br />Mr. Kahn and unanimously carried, the A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 1973, REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION AMENDING THE <br />SOUTH BEND CENTRAL DEVELOPMENT AREA <br />a resolution of the City of South Bend DEVELOPMENT PLAN <br />Redevelopment Commission amending the <br />South Bend Central Development Area <br />Development Plan. <br />Ms. Greene noted that now that the <br />Commission has considered the <br />remonstrance from the Emmett McNease <br />Revocable Living Trust and approved <br />Resolution No. 1973, the remonstrator has <br />thirty days to file a legal action appealing the <br />Commission's decision on the matter. <br />14 <br />
