South Bend Central Development Area <br />(1) Commission approval requested for <br />proposal for re- metering of water supply <br />in the South Bend Central Development <br />Area. (Leighton Garage & Retail Spaces) <br />Mr. Williams reported that three bids were <br />received to change the current water <br />metering system at the Leighton garage in <br />the South Bend Central Development Area. <br />The change involves separating the current <br />supply so the retail shops, the AMPCO <br />office and the courtyard can each be <br />monitored and billed individually. The <br />proposals are as follows: <br />Niezgodski Plumbing, Inc. $ 8,900.00 <br />Bob Frame Plumbing & Heating $ 9,581.52 <br />L. S. Plumbing & Heating $23,715.00 <br />Staff recommends accepting the proposal <br />from Niezgodski Plumbing, Inc. in the <br />amount of $8,900. <br />Mr. Hunt asked if the tenants were aware of <br />the change being made. <br />Mr. Williams responded that CB Richard <br />Ellis was working with staff and that the <br />tenants were notified of the change. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Kahn, seconded by <br />Mr. Blake and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved a proposal for re- <br />metering of water supply in the South Bend <br />Central Development Area.
