South Bend Central Development Area <br />(3) continued... <br />Upon a motion by Mr. King, seconded by <br />Mr. Hunt and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 2103 <br />accepting the transfer of real property from <br />Northern Indiana Historical Society, Inc. <br />(1) Commission approval requested for <br />execution of Ground Lease between the <br />South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />and Northern Indiana Historical Society, <br />Inc. related to the Studebaker National <br />Museum relocation project. <br />Mr. Laurent noted that the City of South <br />Bend, through its Redevelopment <br />Commission, is in the process of constructing <br />a museum facility for the Studebaker <br />National Museum. This Ground Lease <br />would connect the Studebaker National <br />Museum property with the Northern Indiana <br />Historical Society property. The Ground <br />Lease covers the area of the connector and a <br />patio area. The fee would be $1.00 per year <br />for twenty years. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Hunt, seconded by <br />Mr. King and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the Ground Lease <br />between the South Bend Redevelopment <br />Commission and Northern Indiana Historical <br />Society, Inc. related to the Studebaker <br />National Museum relocation project. <br />9 <br />COMMISSION APPROVED RESOLUTION No. 2103 <br />ACCEPTING THE TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY <br />FROM NORTHERN INDIANA HISTORICAL <br />SOCIETY, INC. <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE GROUND LEASE <br />BETWEEN THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT <br />COMMISSION AND NORTHERN INDIANA <br />HISTORICAL SOCIETY, INC.
