Housing <br />(2) continued... <br />Upon a motion by Mr. King, seconded by <br />Mr. Hunt and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the Loan and Grant in <br />connection with the South Bend Home <br />Improvement Program for property located at <br />524 LaPorte Ave. (Hal Green and Nannie <br />Mae Green) <br />C. South Bend Central Development Area <br />Ms. Jones asked that Item 6.C.(3) be considered at <br />the top of the South Bend Central Development <br />Area items. There was no objection and the item <br />was moved to the top of 6.C. <br />(3) Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 2103 accepting the transfer <br />of property from Northern Indiana <br />Historical Society, Inc. related to the <br />Studebaker National Museum Relocation <br />Project. <br />Mr. Laurent noted that the property being <br />accepted in Resolution No. 2103 is a portion <br />of Lot No. 10 as recorded on the Plat of Ann <br />Thomas' Subdivision of Bank Out Lot No. <br />74 of the First Plat of Out Lots of the Town <br />of South Bend, now City of South Bend, <br />Indiana. The Northern Indiana Historical <br />Society has approved a resolution to donate <br />this property to the City. This resolution will <br />accept that property. <br />Ms. Greene noted that the resolution also <br />directs staff to take title and record the deed. <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE LOAN AND GRANT <br />IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOUTH BEND HOME <br />IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR PROPERTY <br />LOCATED AT 524 LAPORTE AVE.
