Sample -Ewing Development Area <br />(2) continued... <br />water without having a retention basin on <br />site. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Hunt, seconded by COMMISSION APPROVED THE GRANT OF <br />Mr. King and unanimously carried, the PERPETUAL EASEMENT IN THE SAMPLE -SWING <br />Commission approved the Grant of Perpetual DEVELOPMENT AREA. HILL TRUCK SALES, <br />Easement in the Sample -Ewing Development INC.) <br />Area. (Hill Truck Sales, Inc.) <br />(3) Commission approval requested for <br />proposal for professional services in the <br />Sample -Ewing Development Area <br />(Demolition, 722 E. Ohio) <br />ILI Mr. Williams noted that the Commission <br />acquired the property at 722 E. Ohio two <br />weeks ago. The owner and tenant were <br />relocated at that time. Upon inspection of the <br />property it is apparent that the house is being <br />pilfered. It has become a hazard. Staff <br />would like to have it demolished <br />immediately. Ritschard Brothers has <br />proposed to do the demolition for a fee of <br />$4,886. The proposal omits seeding of the <br />cleared land. Ritschard has verbally agreed <br />to do the entire job for $5,000. Staff <br />recommends approval. <br />Ms. Greene noted that Tim Williams went <br />over and above the call of duty to help Mr. <br />Dotson who was the former property owner <br />during the relocation process. Mr. Williams <br />drove Mr. Dotson back and forth to different <br />properties, drove him back and forth to the <br />City for various meetings, helped Mr. Dotson <br />move into his new residence, and did a <br />17 <br />
