Redevelopment Commission Meeting <br />Rescheduled Regular Meeting— October 8, 2004 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />D. Sample -Ewing Development Area <br />(1) continued... <br />area. This Contract for Sale of Land will sell <br />approximately one acre, the north 160' of Lot <br />4, to Hill Truck Sales for those purposes. <br />Ms. Greene noted that the only difference <br />from the Commission's standard Contract for <br />Sale of Land is the inclusion of some <br />environmental language acknowledging that <br />the property falls under the VRP program. It <br />provides for continuation of the VRP <br />program and requires that the purchaser not <br />impair the Commission's application for the <br />VRP program. There is also indemnification <br />language and language that prohibits Hill <br />. from disturbing the monitoring wells. <br />Upon a motion by Hunt, seconded by Mr. <br />King and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the Contract for Sale <br />of Land with Hill Truck Sales, Inc. for a <br />portion of Lot 4 in the Oliver Industrial Park. <br />(2) Commission approval requested for Grant <br />of Drainage Easement in the Sample - <br />Ewing Development Area. (Hill Truck <br />Sales, Inc.) <br />Mr. Laurent explained that staff is proposing <br />the Redevelopment Commission grant an <br />easement to Hill Truck Sales over Lot 5 in <br />the Oliver Industrial Park for the sum of <br />$1.00. This will allow Hill Truck Sales to <br />run a storm sewer from this new lot to the <br />storm sewer at the Oliver Plow Court. This <br />15 ft.easement will allow them to drain storm <br />16 <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE CONTRACT FOR <br />SALE OF LAND WITH HILL TRUCK SALES, INC. <br />FOR A PORTION OF LOT 4 IN THE OLIVER <br />INDUSTRIAL PARK. <br />
