ILRedevelopment Commission Meeting <br />Rescheduled Regular Meeting — October 22, 2004 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />D. South Bend Central Development Area <br />(5) continued... <br />recently acquired by UL/EHL. Finally, it <br />takes in a row of properties on the southeast <br />corner of Washington and St. Louis. The <br />resolution also adds one of those properties <br />to the acquisition list At this time the <br />resolution is being filed with the <br />Redevelopment Commission in preparation <br />for a public hearing to consider the boundary <br />expansion and the addition to the acquisition <br />list. The public hearing will be held at the <br />Commission's next regularly scheduled <br />meeting on November 5, 2004. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. King, seconded by <br />Mr. Hunt and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission accepted for filing Resolution <br />No. 2105 and set a Public Hearing on <br />Resolution No. 2105 at 10:00 a.m., <br />November 5, 2004. <br />E. Sample -Ewing Development Area <br />(1) Staff report on disposition of property in <br />the Sample -Ewing Development Area. <br />(Oliver Industrial Park Lot #8) <br />Mr. Laurent noted that Macri Development, <br />Inc. submitted a proposal on October 18, <br />2004 to purchase and develop Lot #8 in the <br />Oliver Industrial Park. Staff has been <br />working with Macri for six months in <br />anticipation of this proposal. The City and <br />Commission have conducted significant <br />work to create Fredrickson Park on South <br />Bend Avenue, and Macri Development owns <br />a parcel of land that is needed for the <br />13 <br />COMMISSION ACCEPTED FOR FILING <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2105 AND SET A PUBLIC <br />HEARING ON RESOLUTION NO. 2105 AT 10:00 <br />A.M., NOVEMBER 5, 2004. <br />
