Redevelopment Commission Meeting
Rescheduled Regular Meeting — October 22, 2004
6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.)
D. South Bend Central Development Area
(2) continued...
incentive management fee of 10% of revenue
exceeding $13,000 per year. The one -year
term will allow staff to consider possible
consolidation of this agreement with
agreements for other downtown garages and
parking lots after one year. Staff
recommends approval.
Mr. Hunt noted that the Commission has not
yet seen the parking study by Walker
Parking. Mr. Inks indicated that that was
being copied for distribution to Commission
members.
Upon a motion by Mr. King, seconded by
Mr. Hunt and unanimously carried, the
Commission approved the Parking
Management Agreement with Ampco
Parking System.
(3) Commission approval requested for
Professional Services in the South Bend
Central Development Area. (Survey,
Main/Colfax Parking Garage)
Mr. Williams noted that staff has requested
an upgrade of the survey on the Main/Colfax
parking garage to include topographic and
easement information to be used in
conjunction with the facade improvements.
Three proposals were received. The lowest
fee was from Danch Harper & Associates for
a sum of $1,200. Danch Harper &
Associates did the previous survey, so this
would be simply an update and addition to an
existing survey prepared by Danch Hamer.
10
COMMISSION APPROVED THE PARKING
MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT WITH AMPco
PARKING SYSTEM..
