South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting — December 3, 2004 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />C. South Bend Central Development Area <br />(4) continued... <br />shall take effect and setting a Public <br />Hearing on Resolution No. 2115 at <br />10:00 a.m., December 17, 2004. <br />Mr. Inks noted that Resolution No. 2115 <br />amends the operating budget of the Wayne <br />St. Garage. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Hunt, seconded by <br />Mr. King and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission accepted for filing Resolution <br />No. 2115 and set a Public Hearing on <br />Resolution No. 2115 at10:00 a.m., <br />IL December 17, 2004. <br />(5) Commission approval requested for <br />proposal for architectural services in the <br />South Bend Central Development Area. <br />(Jefferson/St. Joseph site) <br />Mr. Mathia noted that Staff has been in <br />discussions with Browning Investments, Inc., <br />a developer interested in developing the site <br />located at the northwest corner of Jefferson <br />and St. Joseph Streets where the City <br />recently demolished a parking garage. The <br />proposed development would be a mixed use <br />facility that includes a parking garage with <br />retail on the ground floor and an office <br />complex on the top floors. <br />Architecture Design Group (ADG) has <br />submitted a proposal to provide architectural <br />planning and design services for the <br />preparation of two to four conceptual designs <br />for the ground floor spaces in the new <br />COMMISSION ACCEPTED FOR FILING <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2115 AND SET A PUBLIC <br />NEARING ON RESOLUTION NO. 2115 AT10:00 <br />A.M., DECEMBER 17, 2004 <br />
