The estimated cost of the <br />proposed services is $7,000.00 plus <br />reimbursables. <br />The Redevelopment Commission is <br />requested to approve ADG's proposal and <br />authorize funding up to $8,000 to cover the <br />professional services plus reimbursables and <br />contingencies. Staff recommends approval. <br />ADG's input will assist Staff to ensure that <br />the ground floor spaces are sited correctly <br />and interface well with the surrounding <br />public and private facilities including <br />Century Center, the Key Bank building and <br />ILJefferson Center. ADG was asked to submit <br />a proposal because they are very familiar <br />with the development area, having designed <br />the addition to the Chocolate Cafe and the <br />plaza between the Chocolate Cafe and the <br />College Football Hall of Fame. In addition, <br />ADG has prepared conceptual drawings for a <br />retail shopping lane along DeRue Court <br />which borders the west side of the <br />development site. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Faccenda, seconded <br />by Mr. Hunt and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the request for <br />proposal for professional services in the <br />South Bend Central Development Area and <br />accepted the proposal from ADG for the <br />scope of services and fee proposed. <br />D. Sample -Ewing Development Area <br />G8 <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE REQUEST FOR <br />PROPOSAL FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES IN THE <br />SOUTH BEND CENTRAL DEVELOPMENT AREA <br />AND ACCEPTED THE PROPOSAL FROM ADG FOR <br />THE SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE PROPOSED. <br />
