South Bend Central Development Area <br />(1) continued... <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Hunt, seconded by <br />Mr. King and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission authorized staff to get the <br />LaSalle Hotel roof repaired at a cost not to <br />exceed $15,000, using Conspect Services as <br />a consultant and hiring a roofer on a time - <br />and- materials basis. <br />(2) Commission approval requested for <br />Certificate of Completion in the South <br />Bend Central Development Area. <br />(Leighton Plaza Office Building) <br />Mr. Inks asked that Item 6.C.(2) be tabled. <br />There were no objections. <br />(3) Commission approval requested for <br />Certificate of Completion in the South <br />Bend Central Development Area. (Press <br />Ganey) <br />Mr. Mathia noted that on September 24, 2003 <br />the Redevelopment Commission signed a <br />Contract for Sale of Land for 401 E. Monroe <br />St. (the former Key Bank Drive - Thru). The <br />buyer was Ganey Press Real Estate, LLP. A <br />deed transferring the property to Ganey Press <br />was subsequently signed by the Commission <br />on December 16, 2003. <br />The Contract for Sale of Land required <br />Ganey Press to provide a security deposit in <br />the amount of $25,000.00 as a performance <br />guarantee for completion of certain <br />requirements contained in the Contract. The <br />IL S <br />COMMISSION AUTHORIZED STAFF TO GET THE <br />LASALLE HOTEL ROOF REPAIRED AT A COST NOT <br />TO EXCEED $15,000, USING CONSPECT SERVICES <br />AS A CONSULTANT AND HIRING A ROOFER ON A <br />TIME- AND - MATERIALS BASIS. <br />ITEM 6.C.(2) WAS TABLED <br />
