A <br />G <br />14 <br />South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting — June 17, 2005 <br />Commission approving the subsequent <br />transfer of property located on Ireland Road <br />to Anchor Acquisitions, Ltd. which is the <br />developer of the Erskine Commons Project. <br />The transfer to Anchor Acquisitions is for the <br />sum of $123,500 which is consistent with the <br />appraisals previously obtained for a <br />determination of value of the property. <br />Resolution No. 2175, which approves <br />transfer of the property to the developer, is <br />contingent upon the Board of Public Works <br />taking action at its meeting of June 20, 2005. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. King, seconded by <br />Mr. Downes and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 2175 <br />approving the transfer of property located in <br />the South Side Development Area and <br />authorizing execution of documents <br />necessary to effect transfer contingent upon <br />action by the South Bend Board of Public <br />Works at its June 20, 2005 meeting. (Fire <br />Station Property) <br />H. Northeast Neighborhood Development Area <br />There was no business in the Northeast <br />Neighborhood Development Area. <br />I. PROGRESS REPORTS <br />COMMISSION APPROVED RESOLUTION NO. 2175 <br />APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF PROPERTY <br />LOCATED IN THE SOUTH SIDE DEVELOPMENT <br />AREA AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO EFFECT TRANSFER <br />CONTINGENT UPON ACTION BY THE SOUTH BEND <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AT ITS JUNE 20, 2005 <br />MEETING. (FIRE STATION PROPERTY <br />THERE WAS NO BUSINESS IN THE NORTHEAST <br />NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT AREA. <br />THERE WAS NO OTHER BUSINESS. <br />Mr. Laurent reported that the process is underway for PROGRESS REPORTS <br />the Studebaker Area A Demolition Phase I Project. The <br />project is the demolition of the stamping plant which is <br />1.5 million square feet, located on forty (40) acres <br />owned by the Commission at the intersection of <br />Franklin and Broadway. The Board of Public Works <br />will solicit bids for the demolition project June 24, 2005. <br />
