South Bend Redevelopment Commission Regular Meeting — June 17, 2005 into a development agreement with Anchor Acquisitions with respect to the Erskine Commons Project. The Commission agreed, by way of the Development Agreement, to assist in site assembly where necessary. One of the properties in question was the fire station. After discussions with the Fire Chief and Board of Public Works Director, Gary Gillot, it was determined that it would make sense to move this particular station to another area, thereby allowing the property to become incorporated as part of the Erskine Commons retail project. The Board of Public Works is the record title holder for the City of South Bend by statute. The BPW will transfer the property to the Redevelopment Commission by adopting a resolution matching the Commission's proposed resolution. The Commission will take title to the property pursuant to action taken by the BPW on Monday, June 20. 2005. Upon a motion by Mr. King, seconded by Mr. Hunt and unanimously carried, the Commission approved Resolution No. 2174 accepting the transfer of real property from the City of South Bend, Indiana contingent upon action by the South Bend Board of Public Works at its June 20, 2005 meeting. (Fire Station Property) (2) Commission approval requested for Resolution No. 2175 approving the transfer of property located in the South Side Development Area and authorizing execution of documents necessary to effect transfer. (Fire Station Property) Ms. Greene reported that Resolution No. 2175 relates to the Redevelopment L, 17 COMMISSION APPROVED RESOLUTION NO. 2174 ACCEPTING THE TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY FROM THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA CONTINGENT UPON ACTION BY THE SOUTH BEND BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AT ITS JUNE 20, 2005 MEETING.
