South Bend Redevelopment Commission Regular Meeting — June 17, 2005 (8) Commission authorization requested to publish the Notice of Disposition of Property with publication dates of June 17, 2005 and June 24, 2005 and Receipt of Bids at 8:00 a.m. on July 5, 2005 at a Special Meeting of the Redevelopment Commission. (St. Joseph /Jefferson Garage Office Project) Mr. Inks advised that a legal notification will be published on two (2) separate dates related to the disposition of property located on the northwest corner of St. Joseph Street and Jefferson Boulevard. The opening of bids will be on July 5, 2005 at 8:00 a.m. Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by Mr. Hunt and unanimously carried, the Commission authorized publication of the Notice of Disposition of Property with publication dates of June 17, 2005 and June 24, 2005 and Receipt of Bids at 8:00 a.m. on July 5, 2005 at a Special Meeting of the Redevelopment Commission. (St. Joseph/Jefferson Garage Office Project) C. Sample -Ewing Development Area (1) Commission approval requested for Resolution No. 2171 related to acquisition of property in the Sample -Ewing Development Area by eminent domain. (704 E. Sample Street) Mr. Williams reported that Resolution No. 2171 is related to the Grace Christian Church property located at 704 E. Sample Street. Two (2) appraisals were requested for the property in order to establish fair market value. The average of the two appraisals is $73,700. Staff requests authorization to extend the offer of $73,700 to Grace 13 COMMISSION AUTHORIZED PUBLICATION OF THE NOTICE OF DISPOSITION OF PROPERTY WITH PUBLICATION DATES OF JUNE 17, 2005 AND .TUNE 24, 2005 AND RECEIPT OF BIDS AT 8:00 A.M.
