South Side Development Area <br />I continued... <br />SOUTH ID EVEL( PMENi- AREA. <br />accepting a counter offer from Caroline <br />Partners LC for the acquIsitlon of property <br />in the South Side Development Area. Mr. <br />lake seconded the motion. The motioll <br />earned on a vote of four in favor. Mr. <br />. eczkowsl .l. abstained. <br />E. Northeast Neighborhood evelop en Area <br />There was no business in the Northeast <br />Neighborhood Development Area. <br />F. Douglas Roark Economic Development Area <br />Where was no business in the Douglas Road <br />Economic Development Area. <br />G. Other <br />(1) Commi sion approval requested for <br />Agreement for Programs and Services <br />with Urban Enterprise Association of <br />South Bend, Inc. (western Ave. Fa a e <br />Matching Grant program) <br />Mr. Inks noted that the next five documents <br />are all similar. They are agreements with <br />various non - profit agencies to run the <br />corridor facade matching grant programs. <br />The teens of each agreement allow the non - <br />profit to grant up to 60% of the cost of the <br />facade improvement. .t. "he maximum grant is <br />generally $20,000. The purpose is to <br />complete a noticeable improvement to the <br />corridor, consistent with the revitalization <br />action plan for that com'dor. <br />
