Jefferson Blvd., South Bend, Indiana. <br />RESOLUTIONS <br />RESOLUTION NO. 3654-06 A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON <br /> COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH <br /> BEND, INDIANA, PUBLICLY <br /> COMMENDING THE LASALLE <br />CROSS <br /> INTERMEDIATE ACADEMY <br /> COUNTRY TEAM <br />FOR WINNING THE <br /> 2006 SOUTH BEND SCHOOL <br /> CORPORATION’S TOURNAMENT <br />TH <br /> CHAMPIONSHIP FOR THEIR 4 YEAR <br /> IN A ROW <br />Whereas, the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, is proud to <br />recognize that LaSalle Intermediate Academy, located on the west-side of South Bend, <br />Indiana, is one of the premier Magnet Schools in the South Bend Community School <br />Corporation ; and <br />Whereas, the Council notes that LaSalle has a student enrollment of 824 for the <br />2006-2007 academic year in grades 5-8 and while most elementary schools in the United <br />States do not offer the opportunity to compete in cross country, LaSalle Intermediate <br />Academy cross country program is widely respected throughout the region; and <br />Whereas, the Common Council would especially like to publicly recognize Coach <br />Brookshire and all of the following named student-athletes of the LaSalle Cross Country <br />Teamand all of the individuals associated with the LaSalle Lions Cross Country Team <br />who finished with a winning record of 5-0: <br />Karla Alamilla Vanessa Hilson Byron Orvis Samantha Shepard <br />Megan Beery Sean Horner Madalynne Orvis Kaitlin Spiess <br />Bruce Bragg William Leonard Hannah Pietrzak Chrishana Stoner <br />Ashleigh Bush Amina L.
