South Bend Redevelopment Commission Regular Meeting —March 8, 2011 has been available for a long time. This summer is going to be a good summer with people moving down that corridor because there's buildings going up, the Kroc's going up, the new gateway to Oliver Park, underground pipe involves coming down so that is going to be a construction demolition so it's hoped to get more inquires with the construction theme. Upon a motion by Mr. Varner, seconded by Mr. Downes and unanimously carried, the Commission approved bid proposal from ABC Supply /Oliver Plow Partners for $22,000 for a 4.39 acre portion to prepare contract for sale. (2) Consulting Agreement with Blue Waters Group (Phase IV, Ignition Park) Mr. Price noted that the Commission has entered into several agreements for services related to planning and development of our technology park, Ignition Park. Staff wishes to enter into an agreement with Blue Waters Group for a Phase IV level of services. Since November 2008 Blue Waters Group has been the only group contracted to provide communications services related to the marketing of Ignition Park.. Those services include the creation of an identity for Ignition Park, the development of promotional materials, the production and ongoing support of web sites and multimedia to promote both Ignition Park and economic development opportunity in South Bend, especially through the monthly South Bend ON e -mail newsletter.
