South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting —March 8, 2011 <br />and William Street) <br />B. Airport Economic Development Area <br />(1) Staff report on disposition of property in <br />Oliver Plow Industrial Park. <br />Mr. Sikora noted that all the land in Oliver <br />Industrial Park was offered for bid in the <br />spring of 2003. Oliver Plow Partners (The <br />Holladay Group) has submitted a proposal to <br />construct a 40,800 s.f. building for a tenant, <br />ABC Supply Company at a cost of <br />$1,750,000. Its tenant will be ABC Supply <br />Company. <br />The project was presented for tax abatement <br />at the February 2, 2010 meeting. As <br />presented then, the project will retain 10 <br />existing jobs and one part-time job with a <br />total annual payroll of $419,958 while adding <br />two more positions totaling $65,000 per year. <br />The proposed bid is for $22,000 for a 4.39 <br />acre portion of Oliver Industrial Park Lot #8 <br />(7.84 acres). This lot borders the west side of <br />Chapin Street at the entrance of the park. <br />Staff continues to work closely with <br />Holladay Properties to develop a fagade and <br />building design that is consistent with the <br />guidelines set forth for the park and <br />surrounding area. <br />Staff requests approval of the proposal and <br />authorization to prepare a Contract for Sale <br />of Land. <br />Mr. Varner questioned amount of acreage <br />with Mr. Sikora reiterating that it is the 4.39 <br />acre portion of the 7.84 site.
