Weber absent. <br />f Hearing given on. improvement Resolution No. 316 for grade, curb and walk <br />on Wilber Street fvom Michigan Avenue to Linden Street. In the City of South Bench, <br />Indiana. <br />In the above matter remonstrators appeared and written remonstrances were <br />filed. The Board after clue consideration decided to modify the above numbered resolu- <br />tion to read as Follows:- Grade, curb and walk on. Wilber. Street from Michigan Avenue <br />to Longley 'Avenue, and the Board find in each and every case in said improvement <br />that the benefits to the property and to the City of South Bend a -,e equal to the esti- <br />mated cost of said improvement, and the same are hereby in all things ratified, con- <br />firmed and approved. <br />Resolved further, that notices be published on the 5th.,) day of June, <br />1914 and on the 12th.day of June,1914 in the South Bend Daily Nees-TI-ries, stating <br />that this Board will receive bids for the construction of said improvement up to 10;00 <br />A. m. on the 23rd. day of june,1914. The Board therefore find in each and every case in said improvement that the <br />benefits to the property and to the City of South Bend are equal to the estimated cost <br />of said improvement, and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and <br />approved. <br />Resolved further, that notices be published on the 5th., day of June, <br />1914 and on the :12th.., day of June.1914 in the South Bend Daily News -Times, stating <br />that this Board will receive bids for the construction of said imrovement up to 10:00 <br />A.M. on the 23rd. , day. of June,1914. The Board reserves the right to reject any or <br />all bids. <br />In the matter of the hearing on Pavement on Sherman Avenue from <br />Michigan Avenue to south end of said Street, Under improvement resolution No. 301 <br />The Board decided to deferr all action on same until June 23rd. ,1914 at .7:45 P.M, <br />Hearing given on Condemnation Resolution No. 29 for the opening and <br />extension of Sherman Avenue from south end of Sherman Avenue to Oak Street, In the <br />City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />In the above matter remonstrators appeared, but no further written <br />remonstrances were filed. • All remonstrances were over -ruled. The Board therefore <br />declare the above property in all things condemned and appropriated for public use. <br />The City Civil Engineer was instructed to prepare roll showing awards <br />of damages and assessments of benefits in the above matter. <br />l By unanimous consent of the Board the Cedar Street P.�vement,under <br />V Improvement Resolution No. 295 to be lrid with Nelsonville Brick will be a,wa.r;ied to <br />the -lowest` 'responsible Bir?c9er, C. The letting of the contrael for saial <br />;improvement ie hereby continued unt_i Saturday Tune 16th.,1914 at 10:00 A- '. <br />.Petition filed for a, pipe sewer on Blaine Avenue from Vassar Ave. <br />to Portage Avenue. The same was read and the Board instructed the Clerk to have <br />a resolution prepared on sar2e and set for a hearing. <br />The Board instructed the Clerk to prepare a resolution for curb , and <br />sidewalk and grade for the same on Blaine Avenue from Vassar Ave. to Portage Ave, <br />and set the same for a. hearing. <br />
